This design was taken from the Cumberland Cross which is a standing stone cross near the Town of Gosforth in the Cumberland District of Northwest England. It was created sometime during the eighth or ninth century in the Celtic knotwork style common to many stone crosses. It is very unusual in that the stone has not only the Christian cross, but also scenes from Norse mythology which depict the Norse legend of Ragnarok. The End of Days.

Our Tree is inspired by the legendary White Tree of Gondor, the tree of the King from the Lord of the Rings.
